Psychopharmacology
I offer psychopharmacologic intervention for a variety of psychiatric conditions including anxiety, mood, psychotic, and attention and impulse related disorders. I combine humanism and warmth with careful clinical assessment to find the best individual treatment possible for each person. My goal is to have each patient achieve a complete recovery. I seek to have my patients understand the nature of their illness, as well as the benefits and potential complications of a wide array of psychopharmacologic options which are available. In this capacity, I often work with therapists from other disciplines as part of a team approach to integrated care. I also have many patients to whom I provide both therapy and psychopharmacology. I am aware that some people are hesitant to try medications, and I am open to exploring other options with these patients, as well.
